Horizontal, force-measuring balancing machine
For balancing all types of rotors - from the smallest rotors to large complete units
Hofmann's universal, force-measuring balancing machines can be used to reliably balance horizontal rotors of all types and sizes. They are designed for maximum precision and efficiency in industrial processes.
Rotors are stored on their bearing journals for balancing, mounted on auxiliary shafts or machined as complete units. The Hofmann force measurement principle ensures precise measurement results and high machine availability thanks to permanent calibration.
The machines are suitable for a wide range of applications, from small precision rotors to large, complex assemblies. Expandable options such as flexible rotor holders and protective devices make the horizontal balancing machine particularly versatile and precisely adaptable to the customer's individual requirements.

Flexible, robust, unbeatably precise
The all-rounder in balancing for all types of rotors
The horizontal, force-measuring balancing machines from Hofmann impress with their universal applicability and maximum measuring accuracy. The proven Hofmann force measuring principle ensures precise results through permanent calibration without the need for time-consuming calibration runs. Piezo force transducers in the force flow guarantee maximum sensitivity and the best measurement results.
The flexible rotor holder - whether on bearing journals, auxiliary shafts or as a complete unit - opens up a particularly wide range of applications. Typical workpieces include electric armatures, spindles, fan and generator rotors, turbine and compressor rotors, rollers and crankshafts.
The machines have a robust design and therefore offer very high availability even in continuous industrial use. Customers benefit from a durable solution that optimally combines precision, efficiency and flexibility.
