Flexible solutions for balancing electric armatures and hybrid rotors

Hofmann offers both pure unbalance measuring machines and combined machines with an integrated machining station for automatic correction of unbalance by drilling. This allows different requirements to be covered flexibly. Various machine concepts are available depending on requirements: From the manual 1-station machine, which combines measuring and balancing in one station, to the fully automatic 2-station machine, in which measuring and balancing take place separately. Depending on the rotor type, unbalance correction can be carried out via axial or radial drilling. The number and design of the stations depend on the cycle time requirements and the selected machine concept.

The individual machine components are modular and can be combined individually so that each system can be perfectly adapted to the specific requirements and production conditions.

2-plane measuring and balancing machine for gear components of the E-axis

2-plane measuring and balancing machine

Type EHK12

For the precise balancing of electric armatures and hybrid rotors in e-mobility, Hofmann offers flexible machine concepts that meet the high requirements for measuring accuracy with low unbalance tolerances and high speeds.

Depending on requirements, different machine concepts are available, from the manual 1-station machine, where measuring and balancing take place in one station, to the fully automatic 2-station machine, which enables measuring and balancing to take place separately in two stations. Depending on the rotor type, unbalance correction is carried out axially or radially by drilling or alternatively by riveting weights. The choice of stations and set-up depends on the cycle time and machine concept. All components can be individually combined to ensure maximum flexibility.

Loading can be done manually or automatically using robots or a loading gantry.
