Hofmann precision made in the USA - since 1961
Hofmann recognized the importance of balancing technology for the American market early on and therefore founded the American Hofmann Corporation in New Jersey in 1961. In 1974, the company moved to Lynchburg, Virginia, to further expand its production there.
Around 60 employees currently work at the Lynchburg plant (as of 2025). On a production area of over 8,000 square meters, balancing machines are produced in the well-known Hofmann quality, which meet the high demands of customers.

American Hofmann Corporation is part of the Hofmann Group's global strategy. In Lynchburg, universal balancing machines and special machines for balancing rotors from the aviation industry, cardan shafts, turbochargers and rotors from electric motors are developed and produced.
The subsidiary operates independently with its own production and development, but remains closely linked to Germany. This shared mindset ensures the highest standards of quality, precision and durability.

The competent and experienced sales and service team primarily looks after our customers in the Americas, Asia and Oceania. The factory has its own balancing center where rotors of all types are precisely balanced on behalf of customers.
