Spin stand for electric anchor
For the development, prototype testing, quality assurance and production of rotors
For the development, prototype testing, quality assurance and series production of electric armature rotors, the spinning of the components in the operating speed range is crucial. High speeds can cause subsequent displacement, settling or material deformation, which can lead to changes in imbalance and thus to a loss of performance or increased wear. Spin stands for electric armatures enable these effects to be detected at an early stage, the rotors to be tested precisely and the balancing results to be optimally controlled.
Our centrifugal solutions are specially designed for the high demands of electromobility and support engineers in analyzing rotor vibrations, strength limits and dynamic behaviour. This not only increases the operational safety of the rotors, but also significantly boosts efficiency in production and development. The use of such spin test rigs allows prototypes, small series and series products to be tested reliably, corrections to be made before series production and the service life of the rotors to be secured in the long term.

Benefit from the possibilities of the Hofmann network
Centrifugal processes for rotors from electric armatures to turbomachines
High-performance spin stands are indispensable for the development, prototype testing, quality assurance and series production of rotors. They enable the rotors to be run up to their subsequent operating speed, which can lead to subsequent mass displacement in the rotor, particularly in the case of electric motors. This displacement influences the unbalance and is crucial for the subsequent balancing of the components.
Within the Hofmann network, we offer both our own spin stands, such as the vertical type ESV25-AR, and solutions from our partner company deineMaschine GmbH. The combination of Hofmann technology and partner solutions enables flexible, powerful and safe centrifugal processes for a wide range of rotors, from electric anchors to turbo machines.
Our Hofmann centrifugal stands are characterized by their compact design, high centrifugal speeds, precise direct drives, automated loading options and comprehensive safety functions. Partner products from deineMaschine complement the portfolio with innovative systems for prototypes, small series and specialized applications.
By working together in the Hofmann network, you benefit from maximum precision, efficiency and operational reliability, optimally coordinated devices and a wide range of applications - from research and development to series production.
Further information on the products of our partner company can be found on the website of deineMaschine GmbH.

Vertical spin stand
Type ESV25-AR
The Hofmann ESV25-AR vertical spinning stand has been specially developed for the precise spinning of electric motors in large-scale production. A central component of the spinning process is bringing the rotors up to their subsequent operating speed in the vehicle. This so-called spinning often causes a shift in the mass of the laminations in the rotor, for example, which can lead to a change in the imbalance. Due to the low tolerances of electric rotors, a spinning process is essential to ensure optimum rotor balance, durability and operational reliability of the components.
The Hofmann spin test stands are available in a vertical design and offer maximum flexibility in loading, which can be carried out both manually and automatically using robots. Thanks to the precise control and high spin speeds, prototypes, small batches and series production can be tested efficiently and reproducibly.
Thanks to its compact design, robust construction and high-precision direct drive, the ESV25-AR is ideal for the production and quality assurance of electric rotors where maximum accuracy and safety are required.

Quasar spin
The right measuring system for Hofmann spin-drying solutions
The specially developed measuring software for vertical spin stands offers a comprehensive solution for the precise measurement, analysis and balancing of rotors. Thanks to an integrated rotor database, different rotor types can be efficiently managed and called up at any time, allowing the software to be optimally integrated into a wide range of testing and production environments.
With its ability to balance flexible rotors in several planes and at different speeds using influence coefficients, the software offers maximum flexibility and accuracy. The display of measured values in run-up or run-down (tracking) as well as in continuous mode for long-term measurements enables detailed analysis under realistic operating conditions.
A variety of display formats are available for evaluation: Measured values can be displayed directly in vibration units and visualized in Bode or polar diagrams. The software also offers functions for signal analysis, shaft vibration measurement including run-out compensation and integrated logging software for complete documentation of all test results.
