Special solutions

Balancing cells

The innovative Hofmann balancing cells combine one or more balancing machines with a machine tool to create a fully automatic system. The rotor unbalance determined on the balancing machine is transferred directly to the machine tool's control system so that the unbalance is corrected automatically.

This solution enables high-precision balancing of components with complex geometries, special materials or demanding machining processes. At the same time, the influence of the operator is significantly reduced, ensuring reproducible results, maximum efficiency and the highest quality in production.

Special features

  • Linking one or more balancing machines (e.g. also a horizontal and a vertical balancing machine) with a machine tool
  • "Programming" of the machine tool by the unbalance measuring system of the balancing machine
